I am Irish. Fifteen years ago I married Yash, a scientist turned university professor and came to live in India. We have four schoolgoing children, Neil (14), Mel (13), Trisha (8) and Nitin, (6). It is not easy going from West to East, but I’m not complaining!

I got photos for the new week’s story prompts. I am excited about participating with you all. Your kind welcome is greatly appreciated. I read your post regarding ‘asking for help”. The story behind your reluctance to request assistance is heart wrenching. I can see how your reluctance developed. Your delight in getting help with the online purchase must have been a freeing moment. Now apply it to other situations.
